Replacement Battery Warranty
Warranty Terms and Conditions for Batteries.
1. Warranty Coverage
- Coverage: This warranty covers defects in material and workmanship of Batteries (Intelligent Flight Batteries, Replacement Batteries for DJI Drones) purchased through Dage Electronics Pty Ltd for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase.
- Exclusions: This warranty does not cover the DJI Drones or any other equipment used in conjunction with this battery. It also does not cover any damage or malfunctions caused by the battery to the drone or other equipment.
2. Limitations of Liability
- No Liability for Drone Damage: We are not liable for any damage, malfunction, or performance issues that may occur to your DJI drone or any other equipment as a result of using this third-party battery. This includes any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Flight Risks: Users assume all risks associated with the use of this third-party battery, including the risk of the drone malfunctioning or crashing during flight.
3. Warranty Claims
- Process: To make a warranty claim, contact our customer service department with proof of purchase and a detailed description of the defect.
- Inspection and Verification: Upon receiving your claim, we will inspect the battery to verify the defect. If the defect is confirmed and covered under warranty, we will either repair or replace the battery at our discretion.
- Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for shipping costs to return the defective battery to us. If the claim is approved, we will cover the shipping costs to send the repaired or replacement battery back to the customer.
4. Exclusions from Warranty
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage Caused by Misuse: Any damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, improper installation, or failure to follow the battery usage guidelines.
- Normal Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear, including but not limited to, reduced battery life over time and gradual capacity loss.
- Unauthorized Repairs or Modifications: Damage caused by unauthorized repairs, modifications, or alterations to the battery.
- External Factors: Damage caused by external factors such as accidents, extreme environmental conditions, or exposure to moisture or chemicals.
5. Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
6. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
